final blog post

What i wish i new at the beginning of the course is that i wish i came to every single class. Dont be late and pay attention to every thing and all the due dates of your work. Honestli, definitely stay on top of every work because you will be left behind and overwhelmed with the amount of work you have to hand in at the last day. Trust me. When your doing your essays use lexis nexis and all the stuff the professor tells you because that will help you succeed with a good essay. What i would do differently is i would definitely remember the due dates for all my essays better and hand them in on time.

Blog # 5 robotics

I feel good about robots. I think robots will make life a lot easier. Jobs will be done more correctly. Also robots dont get tired. They could help with people such as the elderly. Another thing i feel is that if robots drove cars there would be less accidents. Also if airplanes would crash less. I feel like robots dont really make as much mistakes as humans. Though this can be a problem in the future due to the fact that peoples jobs can be taken. That would also lead to money problems and people going broke. But then again people and robots could work together so it wouldnt be such a bad thing. A lot of jobs would definitely be done quicker and better. I do see a lot of robots in our future.

sample paper

I read this paper and it was very good for me. I think she did a good job. There were a couple flaws. She stated how she felt a lot. Her citations and annotations were actually pretty good. I think it would be good to see every type of paper from the professor. Such as a bad paper that would get an F an okay paper that would get a C a good paper that would get a B and an excellent paper that would get an A. It helps to see the flaws we shouldnt make and how to write an excellent paper. I know will remember all the mistakes this girl made and keep this in mind when i write my research paper.

mid term

For my midterm i chose to write about the internet and if its damaging our attention spans and interfeering with our ability to think. i disagreed with this statement. I feel many people are very smart and have alot of information in their brain. using the internet is a faster more helpful way in finding out information. The internet doesnt change peoples processing abilities. The use of the internet helped save people alot of time. It definitely saved people a trip to the library or book store. Our ability to think isnt harmed by the internet. In fact you're only learning more from it.

research paper - alzheimers

For my research Topic i have decided to write about the notebook and Alzheimers. Having Alzheimers is very difficult, you forget things your emotions are very different. you dont really know whats going on. Its very sad. Its also a very common disease to get. Maybe in the future someone i know might get this and by doing this paper i will learn alot more about it. i also saw the movie the notebook many times so i feel itll make writing my research paper alot easier.

Topic #2

The topic which interests me the most is cellphones and driving. That is because the rest of the topics dont really seem interesting. Also i have a cellphone and im in the car alot.

"Internet technologies are changing the human mind in unpredictable ways and are damaging our memories and attention spans." I feel that people go on Google to do research. Such as questions they need answered in a quick way. Instead of going to find a book and searching through the pages people can go on the internet on Google and have a quicker way of searching.So i disagree that it damages our memories and attention spans.
